I happened to see yet another 600 nitro express for sale on Guns America. The seller is asking 21,000 US for the rifle. It is a European rifle and looks to be fairly decent. |

Does anyone have any further information on the gun ? Maker ? Ejector ? Bore condition ? Was it built up from Scratch ? The important items like Weight Balance Fit Feel General thoughts from those that handled it ? 500 Nitro |

All it says is that is a Belgian Guild boxlock with PacNor barrels. It also says that it'll shoot 3/4" @ 50 yds. or so. No other info is listed in the ad. |

My guess is that they converted a 10 gauge Spanish shotgun to .600 NE. Probably some apprentices in Belgium did it to build up their skills before getting to work on good actions. With 12-18 months advance notice, Dennis Olson will do the same work and only charge $6K. However, he does not provide a pic of Mark Sullivan holding the rifle, which would account for the $15K price difference. |

500grains, Thanks - that's what I wanted to know as it looked in the photo as though they used a Shotgun action or they copied one. 15k extra for photo of Mark Sullivan - gees, his price has come down !!! 500 Nitro |
