Another blast from my past. Thanks rigbymaster. I remember the sweep on that buff's horns and thinking his rhino was a mite smallish. Of course, the .476 WR & it's 520gr. bullets.
I just love the way he wrote.

And while we're on the subject, does anyone have a copy of this edition of Gun Digest that they'd part with? That's the 21st Edition, 1967 Gun Digest. If anyone has a decent copy to sell, that doesn't have a price that looks like a telephone number, please message me. Yes, I am aware that they sell digital versions online.

Elmer was one of a kind, that's for sure. He talked me into getting a 4" Model 29 in 1973, as my duty handgun. I did the same for one of my Mounty friends.
