Fausti dea double

Hello all,

Anyone own a fausti double rifle? Doesn’t seem to be much in the way of reviews on them online so thought I’d ask if anyone knows much more about them. At this stage trying to choose between a sabatti 9.3 or fausti 9.3 or 8x57jrs. For a first double.

Also is it possible to buy multiple sets of calibres for the same action?

Don’t have a Fausti but I was told they are made by Rizzini. I have a Rizzini 92S in 9.3x74R. Love it. Gorgeous gun super accurate and deadly. Much higher quality than the Sabatti imo.

Re: Fausti dea double

I handled several of their doubles both SxS and O/U at SCI last year and they are much better than the sabatti's. For note I have owned and hunt with two different Sabatti's (450NE and 45/70) both were very well regulated and shot well. My old army buddy had to have the 45/70 and I traded the 450NE after I shot my cape buff to the outfitter for a sable. (long story) I haven't shot the Fausti but their fit and finish is execllent and based on the quality of thir shotgun I would expect that they are regulated well.

Fausti and Rizzini are Both top quality gun makers. We are talking of top industrial production with fine handmade engravings.
If you prefer outstanding handmade doubles you should look at our Best craftsmanship's production, like Perugini-Visini, Concari, Farè.

I held a fausti sxs in 45-70 a couple of years ago at mialls. The fit and finish were superb for the price.

Re: Fausti dea double

I have a Fausti U/O double in 45-70, with a 9.3x74R barrel set. It is a left handed. A lovely rifle to carry and shoot.
Barbara Fausti was very nice and helpful to deal with
