Raick Freres 6.5 x 53R Double Rifle
I just picked up my little 6.5x53R (or .256 Mannlicher) yesterday four months after purchasing it thanks to WAPOL. From what I have been able to find out it was made somewhere between the 1930's and 1950. Weighs just on 8 lbs, and comes with ejectors with an automatic safety. It has just a touch of colour left from colour case hardening and the engraving is very well executed and not over done. It has a hi vis foresight which I'll change and feels very pointable. I just need to get the dies I ordered a few months ago, and I'm away. I'd like to post a couple of photos but I can't seem to post them using my iPad and my lap top I believe is possessed at the moment. If somebody who could post a couple of photos could PM me an email address, I'll send them on.

I'm looking forward to seeing your rifle - a friend of mine has had a Raick Freres double boxlock .32/40 for about 35 years.
