BRNO doubles

I had a very close look at a BRNO 375 H&H recently.

It looks very much like a Merkel, but claims to be made by BRNO themselves.

What are they like? Any traps/pitfalls or bonuses?

Re: BRNO doubles

BRNO had a series of Under and Over rifles that they sold out here in the 80's, in a couple of different grades. The top grade one was an ejector model, with a set trigger on the bottom barrel I think. They were quite well built and gave few problems that I know of. I had one in 375H&H for a number of years and it gave me good service. The only one that I know of that had an issue was a bottom grade one that the barrels separated on. They were a little clunky if you are used to using an English SxS rifle, or some of the newer U/O's that are available today, but were generally an accurate and reliable rifle that should last forever.
If you need any more info, PM me and I will give you my contact number.
Good Luck
