Brazed Barrels

Has anyone ever tried to UNBRAZE a pair of Belgium SXS smoothbore 12 ga. barrels and re-regulate them? The barrels are fitted into a mono block, you can see the line where they were fitted at the end of the chamber.

I've re-regulated a lot of Sabatti double rifles with brazed barrels...an absolute nightmare. Id wager on a shotgun both ribs will get damaged trying to remove them. On the sabatti guns I'm able to reuse the top ribs since they are thicker double rifle ribs, the bottoms get bent up. I relay with solder. I'll no longer do them.

Aaron, Did you use a torch to heat the ribs?

Yes, a large propane torch at high output. Takes a while.
