I'm hoping someone here has a pile of 280 brass in the loading room, who doesn't need to have that pile of 280 brass. I'm trying to help a fellow out who has a 7x64 bolt rifle. 280 is a quick and elegant parent brass for forming this cartridge. Of course, if someone has an orphan pile of 7x64 brass that would be great too, but I'm thinking that's more unlikely than orphan 280 brass Thanks! |

I don’t think that 7x64 is all that difficult to find, is it? https://ammoseek.com/ammo/7x64mm |

There's (possible) economy in the search for orphaned 280 brass. The rifle was the belonging of this fellow's recently late father. Dear old dad had used 280 brass (there are few pieces of reformed 280 brass with the rifle) for this purpose - which is a very slight change from parent brass to formed brass. I just want to help the guy out without spending a considerable amount of money. |

Got it. I often look for the cheap solution but find it is usually the long way 'round. Just ran across this: https://www.diamondkbrass.com/7x64mm-brenneke-50.html https://www.diamondkbrass.com/.280-REM-100.html |
