They are heavy. The wood is Teak. Sure as hell wont be affected much by weather.

It’s a handy round and that’s a lot of rifle. I have a heavily accurized mini 30 that’s a lot of fun.

NitroX - There are a couple on UsedGuns now but the least expensive is $2k. I understand from your other post on 303 conversion that this is more than what you think they are worth. The 308W versions are a bit cheaper but still around $1.5k. I guess that there are still quite a few people around with stockpiled 7.62x39 ammo that s driving up the demand and price for this rifle, as well as having the magazines that fit of course.

Most seem to be purchased by collectors or others who never shoot them.
One sold recently for $1300 which is more like it. Most sell, or at least claim to sell for $2000 to $2500.
Original price was about $800 and not worth even that.

John did you know that CZ makes a model 527 in the caliber your looking for fora whole lot less money. They are excellent rifles.
