NOE bullet moulds! Exceptional!

Al Nelson started this mould making business out of the need for a quality bullet mould for his .41 cal. rifle.

Now, this "semi-custom" mould making company is working out of a new 2,000sq. foot shop.

A few weeks ago I took delivery and of an NOE DC .25 cal. mould for my new Air Force PCP rifle. The mould is especially well made - aluminum and casts 1 flat-base, one HP each time.

I haven't tried them yet on fur, feathers or paper, however thedesigner of the mould has, with excellent results.

Check Al's moulds out. Fast delivery, even up here.

I bought one of there molds a wile back. Its a four cavity mold and it is excellent. Have they started doing one off molds or just in stock. I tried to get them to make the rook rifle molds but they weren't interested.

Re: NOE bullet moulds! Exceptional!

Thanks for pointing them out, I just ordered two of the an already thinking of another.

I have a pre-war 6.5x54 M-S sporting rifle with the deeper .268" grooves, so they are fixing me up with the right size, length and shape to keep her fed. The other is one of their hollow point moulds based on the Lyman 375449 (but a few thou larger in dia.) for my 38-55 with .379" grooves. Both in brass and can't wait to try them out.

I think I'll look for something for my 405 WCF on my next order.

Try David , he does custom stuff and with the Au dollar being worth about 72 US cents it should be good value.

Re: NOE bullet moulds! Exceptional!

They need a 10 mould group buy for a new design that they do not currently have.

The blokes on the CAF forum, (Canadian Air Gun Forum) have a fellow there named Bob Sterne who made a study of air rifles and what bullets they will shoot, along with custom barrels for custom moulds.

They currently have an order in for another .25 cal. bullet, this time in 65gr. .257 FP BT or 62gr. HP bullet that will stabilize in 14" twists which are standard for the .25/20 liners currently available - for PCP air rifles, of course.

Rich - you are in for a treat. The 51gr. .25 cal mould I bought from NOW, has one cavity in HP, the other is a FN.

The HP cavity plunger, is adjustable for HP depth, whatever you want and is of a wonderful design - no slop - positive. The plunger can also be reversed as it has a set-screw lock. With the plunger adjusted properly, you will have 2 FN's instead of a Hollow Point and a Flat Nose.

The moulds are beautifully made.

Re: NOE bullet moulds! Exceptional!

Here's the new .257" at 65gr. The BC will be about .150 to .175 - about the same as a 35gr. .224 Hornady Vmax, or the 17gr. .172 Vax.

Probably make a nice light bullet for shooting bunnies and grouse with a .25/20 Win. M92, or Marlin 94 - or maybe the wildcat .25 Hornet in a bolt or single shot rifle.
