kynoch 318 rimless nitro express

Hi
Excuse my ignorance but I purchased 6 boxes of these because the price seemed right but am not exactly sure of what guns these fit, are they the same as .318 Westly Richards or 8x57js. Please clue me in.

Hi,
they are the same as the 318 Westley Richards.The complete name for them is " .318 Westley Richards rimless nitro express".They are not the same as the 8 x 57 J or JS.
They are not rare cartridges,they were very popular in the past and are still produced by Kynoch and Westley Richards

The 318 rimless NE is the same as the 318 Westley Richards,but it is not the same as the 8 x 57J.

should be the same as .318 WR (bullet diam. 329/.330") - no 8x57 IS......
