I have a few from an unknown source so I will not shoot them. If anyone wants one or two let me know. Some on military cases, some 221 fireball headstamp. Matthew |

Wish the chances of getting them through customs at my end were better, but unfortunately we in oz have too many anti's in customs. Not much activity here in the micro calibre stuff, so hard to get for the collection. I am fascinated with those 14, 12 and 10 calibres. I thought I was a masochist for playing with odd and unavailable rounds in old and abused guns, but the thought of trying to get something that small to work is frightening. I cannot even imagine cleaning a .10 cal barrel. Hope they go to good homes, sad to see collectors at your end are slow to claim them, but I guess they are a bit more common your side of the water. . |

Could I mail you unloaded rounds? I could pull the bullets, dump the powder and primers and send them your way if you think they would make it. As far as cleaning the 14's go, not hard you just have to do it often. Matthew |

Matt, I'll take some! They'll look real good sitting in the bore of my Westley Richards 10-gauge BP shotgun. Don't pull the powder. I won't shoot them, just put them on display. ... are you sure they're adequate for African Cape Buffalo? Address Murph 7929 Beaver Mtn Ave Las vegas, NV 89131 |

I will ship them out tomorrow. They will work great on buff, just make sure your rifle is converted to hold 6 down and is backed up by a good PH with a 577 Matthew |

The magazine will only hold 2, but I'm backed up by my PH and his fearsome .22 LR single shot. BTW: I've actually got a buf on the wall. I put a Hornady 500-gr. soft point out of a .458 Lott through his heart at 40 yards. Hole in, hole out. V. messy. He turned and ran until I nailed him with another behind the ear. Matthew, thanks for the offer, but anything even vaguely related to shooting requires multiple approvals and paperwork to get into Oz through customs. Our post office is rabidly anti-gun, and went so far as to ban all sorts of goodies from the postal system. They were eventually over-ruled by the Government on some of their worst actions, but only slightly. A few years ago post and customs together broke some toys coming in for my kids. Their reason? The package contained some plastic beads and the girl on duty "thought they looked like they might fit in an airsoft gun." The battery powered toy tanks (freely available here in shops) were damaged, the beads were removed, and I received a letter advising me I am now on a database for attempting to import prohibited ammunition without a permit. No way to get off the database apparently, but I was told not to worry about it, unless I tried to import something else they don't like, in which case I would be in serious trouble as a repeat offender. Airsoft guns are banned here, being weapons of mass delusion, and therefore the ammunition is prohibited, even if it is not really airsoft ammunition. We are not able to import seriously dangerous things like empty brass 12g cases, projectiles, dummy rounds, or parts like sights or springs for guns. Given the import problems many businesses will only bring in the big sellers, so those of us who chase odd bits and pieces are a bit hard done by. Again, thanks for the offer, but the odds are stacked against it. |

Sorry to hear that, it is too bad that even airsoft is banned there. Matthew |

Bigger is best I bring in Brass, Projectiles etc etc into Victoria with no hassles. I don't know what happened to you but I have no problems at all. |

Got 'em, thanks. I've been out of town, or I would have responded earlier. I actually am going to use them in an article (I write for hunting rags) about the 700 Nitro that I shot myself with. True story! The participants: steel plate, 700 Nitro soft point, Searcy double, small piece of the bullet jacket on a nasty return flight. Me: Large, bloody grove in left arm. |

You are now the only person I have ever heard of being shot with a 700 NE! WOW! Where will the article appear? I would like to buy a copy. I only subscribe to Double Gun Journal as of now. Matthew |
