Hatari Times issue 2 has an article by Harald Wolf concerning the 9.3x70.
Complete with photos of a rifle in this cartridge built for Hermann Goring.
And a cartridge drawing. Plus ballistics.

I've not been able to find any pressure data on it. It's not listed on my chart. The other 9.3's are, ie: 9.3x64 listed as 64,000PSI max. (CIP pezio)

I really really want to build a rifle in this caliber.
I looked into cases and found that http://www.johannsen-jagd.de/data_de/katalog/katalog.php has cases property head-stamped and for sale. They are about $10 a piece. I did not order because I was not done with my last custom at the time. I have since thought a 376 Steyr might be more practical but not nearly as sexy. The 9,3X70mm Expert Magnum is as hot as a curvy redhead.
Here is what I can offer at this time!

About .546" X .530" so .008" taper per side - quite straight and 30 degree shoulder X 2 3/4" tim to length.
Nice.
I'd probably build a .376 Styer too. Excellent ctg.

I still think of it from time to time. I have an old Rem 721 300 H&H action and a first run Montana 1999 long action. I actually like the Montana more than a pre-64 Winchester. It is what my 6.5 is built on and cleans up incredibly well.
