in the next dorotheum auction there is a lot with two sudanese curved daggers

one have a horn of a nubian ibex as the sheath.
makes a nice wall hanger, never see it before but the native may have done this more than once.

such knives were maybe distributed all over east africa with sudanese merchants, at least on the costal areas
