Took my bow for a walk...

Was heading down a draw looking for elk when I spotted this guy below a small hill..snuk over, ranged him at 60 yards, he stood up and I let the arrow fly..he ran doing the death spiral and crashed in about 10 seconds..in never ceases to amaze me how effective the arrow is in a animal...he isn't much for horn growth, but 1. have enough horns hanging on the wall.. 2. will be incredibly tasty all winter long..

Thank you..its a great part of the world..have hunted that area for over 20 years..really neat in that in a couple days you will see or see signs of deer, coyotes, elk, moose, antelope, bears, upland birds like grouse and partridge..along with an occasional lion track or two..not too many areas left like that anymore...I am incredibly grateful to have been able to enjoy that place as long as I have..

Nice, anytime you can take an antelope with a bow is a cause for celebration.

Well done Ripp.

Some lovely photos, and from the look of the countryside looks like hard stalking country for a bow.
