Thanks for posting. I try to drop in on Forgotten weapons from time to time; but I missed this one. Im a huge fan of the Duckbill concept, not for riot although I suppose that works too BUT for combat, which was the original intended use. Imagine a shotgun used in the jungle, where target identification might be sketchy, and add moving targets; then see your pattern spread horizontally for better a better likelihood of hits!

I would have liked to see a shot with the diverter aimed BETWEEN the two targets to show the effectiveness against multiple targets or moving targets or shots fired in the haste of combat THAT is why the Duckbill was designed!

On a side not I recall reading that when the Brits were fighting in Malaysia, they discovered more kills were made with the shotgun than the Bren gun...

Oh yeah - I recall those from the 60's seems to me, when Guns&Ammo did an article on one.
Seems to me, it worked better with standard wads, but then, that might have been before plastics.
