I posted this in the classified section but thought I might post here as well. I have a G D Tanner German double barrel shotgun that is missing the hammers. I have contacted two companies in England a couple of weeks ago that apparently sell re-production hammers (recast) but as of today have not heard back from them. The hammers I need are 42 mm from the center of the tumbler to the top of the breach, I am not sure how much to add for the pin.
This is an engraved gun and I need hammers that would match or ones that I could engrave to match the gun' This gun looks the one Lancaster posted in an earlier post on this section.
Any help locating a set would be greatly appreciated.
