loads for a four ten

Hi Guys
Has any one got a load for a four ten.The ADI book does not offer very much at all.
I have an Alfred Field (London) double,2 inch chambers .All of the components are here ready to go but no load data.

Thanks in advance

Re: loads for a four ten

SBS470,
try the site below, it may help?
http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/shotgun

H110 is the same as AR2205 if my memory serves me correctly?
This site has only 2 1/2" shells so the smaller 2" ones would most probably work at a lower pressure & lighter payload.
I didn't know you could get reloading gear for the old 410's!
Great pigeon gun & the best to start youngsters off with.
Seen one of these an old H&R Model 1900 bowl wallabies over at short range with no problem at all!
Will continue to look & if I find something more I'll post
best of luck mate

Would it work to use fire formed .303 British cases like people do for the .410 Enfield conversions? Of course, that doesn't address the lack of load data.

Take a look around over at Shotgunworld.com There should be some data in the "reloading" section of the forum.
