The .318 was a good round and way ahead of it's day with it's .330" bullet(seems to me).
Too bad the 9.3x62 wasn't loaded to it's potential back when it was introduced.

Might be a big bore in some places. The modern equivalent is the .338-06; it shares the same virtues in readily available components. With 210 grain Nosler Partitions, mine is a deadly machine. Performs like a big bore. Chub Eastman shot Grissley with his.
