Wow that is gorgeous! Is that one of the full ribs that a member here was selling?
Can't help on loads - I assume .416 ruger starting loads could be used as a starting point.

I'm sorry, I was so concerned about getting the picture through that I did not add my query for load information.
The rifle is an '03 A3 Springfield built by my late Brother over 20 yrs. ago when he was attending Trinidad College.
He did all the metalwork and stock, it has a full octagon barrel and is 9 lbs. as pictured.
I would not want it any lighter..
My only change will be to for a lower mounted glass, probably a 1.5-5 Leupold.
Any load info will be seriously appreciated..

Here's a recommendation from a long-time .416 Taylor owner, FWIW.
No need to chase 2400 fps. Period!
If you shoot the 400-grainers at 2250 to 2280 no powder compression is needed, the cases will last forever, the bullets will penetrate deeply and kill better, and that 9-pound rifle will not beat the crap out of you.
Remember the British .400 Nitro killed tons of DG over the decades with an MV of 2150 fps from the test barrel, considerably less from shorter-barrelled hunting rifles. Nobody had a chronograph back then, so no-one questioned the fact that it just worked!

I'm contemplating acquiring a BLR for rebarrelling and setting up as a hound-gun. Shots at Sambar are rarely over 100 yards.
This calibre sounds almost ideal.

Ken Waters wrote up the .416 Taylor in an experimental Winchester M70 they sent to him, as well, John Whooters used a .416 Taylor in Africa for Cape Buffalo.
Both guys seemed to not have trouble hitting the 2,400fps range with 400's and one can always use 300's to 350's for 'lesser' game, at higher speeds, flatter trajectories.
Ken Waters, "Pet Loads" and Wolf Pumbishing's "Wildcat Cartridges Combo Edition" and "Big Bore Rifles and Cartridges" also have considerable data. This data might all be available on-line.

AR2206H/H4895 (outside Oz) is the best powder I have used for.416 Taylor when using 400gn-410gn bullets. My favourite load goes 2360fps with 410gn Woodleigh soft. This load crunches big scrub bulls! I like using the 340gn Woodleigh at 2550fps foranything lighter.

Ken Waters and John Whooters were loading the .416 Taylor with IMR4320.
I would prefer the H4895 (Extreme) loads myself if hunting in hot climates.

I have used the 416Rem on numerous hunts in Africa--think it has slightly higher case capacity than the Taylor however think similar powders would work??
I have used 400gr A-Frames for softs and 400gr Barnes solids with RL-15--easily hitting the 2400fps mark..but agree with one of the previous comments..no need to be 2400fps--anything between 2150 and that is good and will work very well with a well placed shot..

In Waters Winchester .416 Taylor rifle, 70.0gr. IMR4320 with a 400gr. Colarado Custom went 2,401fps producing 5,116fpe, and 72.0gr. was maximum running 2,447fps for 5,320 fpe.
Ken ALSO ran the 300gr. Colorado SP's at up to 2,711fps using 45.0gr. of the same powder.

The best thing about the Taylor is that it can simply be rechambered to .416 Ruger. Factory ammo and lower pressure are a good thing. Shaving .06" from the rear mag wall of the '03 allows longer COL and lower pressures. On the other hand 400gr at 2250-2300fps will do the job.( Works for the .404 Jeffrey).
