RIP, I have one now and i love it. While not CRF, it feeds smoother & faster than any rifle I have ever used. It feeds effortlessly from any angle and at any speed. Plus it only weighs about 7.5 lbs with scope and recoils no worse than my 9.5 lb 300WM Ruger. I wish I had found this rifle years ago. Put any other switch barrel with it in a compact case and you're ready to hunt everywhere efficiently. Like the other post, it is also very accurate. In fact, I'm looking for another back-up mag so if you find one, let me know. That's about the only draw back with these rifles is that Sauer accesories can be a little spendy and trickier to find. But again, accurate, light weight, fast & reliable. Go for it, you'll love it. What price did you find it for? |

Ripp-- That's a good price-- Dunno how the synthetics work but the 300 Win and 375 H&H barrels interchange on the wooden stock rifles. I have been looking for a deal on a 300/375H&H 202 setup for a while with no luck. The takedown rifles tend to be a bit pricey, but they would be unique and a fun addition to ones rifle battery. Maybe someday-- |
