First ever funding drive for the NitroExpress.com forums

Dear NitroExpress.com members and readers,

In the fifteen years (December 2002) since the Forums.NitroExpress.com has existed, we have never asked members for a contribution to the running costs of the forums or site. However NE for the first time is asking members if they are willing to make a VOLUNTARY contribution or donation to the running costs of the site as part of a funding drive.
In the January to March period there is always a number of fairly large bills needing to be paid. In the past your host has covered these entirely.
Any contribution by a member is purely voluntary and up to the member.
The member can choose the amount of funds they wish to contribute using the PayPalME link on the funding page.
Or choose a fixed payment "Friends of NE" option for individuals (A$36) or businesses (A$360).
Members who do not make a donation to the running costs of NE will still enjoy most of the benefits they have enjoyed in the past.
And don't worry, the Forums.NitroExpress.com will continue to operate regardless.
Friends of the NitroExpress.com Forums
Voluntary contributions to the running costs of NE
Individual Friends of NE, will continue to enjoy certain benefits, such as an increased private message limit (currently no limit is set for members), and other benefits will be added in the future.
Business contributors will be able to use their signature line to include a business reference or web address for their business, graphic etc. They will also have the option to have a banner graphic added for their business on the forums for complying businesses. They will also be able to enjoy the use of their own Friends (business) forum of their own, similar to the current Sponsors forums. And other benefits as time goes on.
In the past we have had some business say they do not wish to become a sponsor of the site, but are willing to make a similar contribution. So either option exists for businesses.
To become a sponsor, if you are interested please enquire, or use the link to become as a Business Friend of NE. And we will be in touch to get you setup.

JH i went straight in to tip a few shekels into the acc however it looks as if its through PP only.
I wont do PP.

Done (i think) - it's been awhile since I've used paypal and I'm in the Middle East tonight so the page came up in Arabic:)

You should be able to use a credit or debit card for at least the "pay me" option.
The subs option may require a paypal acc be opened.

Thanks to everyone. I missed acknowledging some of the contributors from last years fund raising towards the end and one or two earlier persons. Need to start off a cashbook to do some accounting for it ... will work backwards to account for them all up to the current date and try to acknowledge them all when done.
Thanks especially to those persons who took up the yearly renewing subscription option as that means the contributions comes in annually, just like the bills. Thanks.
Paid this years bills again in January to March, unfortunately bills come in every year! So need to fund raise again for 2018. Got a small reserve in there still.
