Wonderful news.
Great that the smart Botswana gov't has been able to see sense.
Haven't read the article yet, but seen the headlines elsewhere.
Way too many elephant causing damage to the environment.

Too many elephants + trouble with villagers = PAC hunts, trophy hunts etc
Sustainably fix the issue and earn a big slice of Forex while you're at it...…..then put the money into game management.
Just follow the example of those that have succeeded in game management and avoid the issues of those that failed.

Seems the every wise lefties consistently F things up way more than they ever cause good..
and yes, I am sure it pisses them off to no end when something like this occurs ..it shows for the world to see how out of touch their ideas really are..

The Green lefties would much rather ,the elephants ate themselves out of house and home and destroyed the environment and ecosystem ,than allow a sustainable sensible utilization ,which provides jobs ,income ,prevents poaching makes wildlife even more valuable etc, by allowing Repugnant sport hunting by those awwwwwwwwful hunters !
