Another 100 plus pounder gone. Kenya the wildlife basket caseof conservation instead of a paradise. But don't worry Leakey was jubilant, that there stunts of burning ivory worked again. Because of the several hundred thousand dollar cheques received from "conservation" organisations and gov'ts afterwards. When I was over there a month or so ago the outfitter showed me a what they had taken from poachers they had caught over the years..wish I had taken a picture of it..amazing the shit they use to try to kill them..all the way from old muskets to poison arrows.... Not sure if they is done out of greed, necessity, or otherwise but the poacher..either way it's a true tragedy to see this old fella gone.. Ripp |
