Shot this pig one evening stalking solo, bare footed amongst the river side Jesse bush in northern Mozambique.

It wasn't a huge animal but it was exciting hunting there where Lion and Ele are often seen.

Some Lions, some time before in the same area.

You can say that again. Where we hunted in RSA in 2005 there where no big or biting critters. In Zim, they were under every leaf just-a-bout. It a was a buzz and added another dimension to the hunt that everyone should experience. As much of a buzz as spending your first night in the Alaskan mountains, by your self in a tent with no one for 10 miles with lots of bears.

Here's another bushpig boar ye wot of (as Browning's bishop would say), shot for meat in Cabo del Gado last year. Cooked long and slow, he tasted great.

My (then) 14yo son double taped each of these right on dusk with his .243W. I couldn't see them with the naked eye but he could clearly with his Zeiss 2.5-10x42 Diavari. It was the best example of why quality optics are worth every cent.
