Interesting concept using a 'breeching ring' for headspace! Not a fan of the snap type extractor, I have a Winchester Model 70A & from day one it had issues; not every round does it, checked rims etc can't see any obvious defects - bloody frustrating! If it was the 'Sako' type then it would be much more positive. |

G'Day Fella's, Thanks for sharing Ripp. I recently got a Sauer 101 in for a customer. They are another nice rifle but these days, if I wanted a cheaper European rifle, I would probably buy a Mauser M18. From what I can see, these particular rifles have many things in common, with each other. That being, they all look to be a variation on the Swiss Arms, SHR 970, of late 1990's. Regardless, they are all a good buy, for the price. D'oh! Homer |

Thanks for posting Ripp. I am with 9.2X64 on these extractors. I also wonder how they will handle the red dust if used by pro shooters out west. |

Quote: Agree on the extractors as well..it amazes me somewhat however at the level of firearm you can get for a cheap price to use as a truck/throwaway gun..the level of accuracy for such a low cost..accuracy you paid much more for back in the day..not that long ago. |

Ripp I agree. The accuracy that is available on budget rifles is incredible. |
