Whenever I see rifles like this, I think “Wow. Really Nice rifles. Too bad the bolt handles and cheek pieces are on the wrong side . . .”

One plus is that temptation is greatly reduced due to the extremely limited market.

The burdens we lefty’s have to bear!

Now I must get back to my search for a left handed Sedgley . . .

I just did a LH Ruger M77 Mk2 for a guy. It's the only controlled feed action in Left hand that is still pretty affordable and they make nice looking classics.

Here's my contribution. I have yet to identify the maker.

According to the Rusch family, it was custom made for Reynold H Rusch - He was from Minocqua, Wisconsin. I was told it was made for him in the 1950's or 60's, perhaps by a Wisconsin Gunsmith.

Its built on a 1930's FN 98 Mauser Action ("Greek Contract" w/ Original Factory Barrel in 8x57 cal.)

Shot this doe this evening. I could have shot her with a bow she was so close. But I contend that I have way more satisfaction from being able to use such a classic gun, and with iron sights. I have quite a few more of these full stocked beauties about, and will add them in time. Oh! In case you have missed my other requests: I am looking for original Mauser M Type steel buttplates (either style), and/or Mannlicher Schoenauer steel buttplates. An 8x57 BRNO round top that I had a little fun with this year. Ironically, I shot the prairie dog with a 196gr. bullet and the deer with a 150gr. The rifle had a set of claw scope mounts already installed when I found it and wears a Leopold 1.5-5 Vari X III.
