Walked the local this arvo for nothing a bit of fresh sign but always seem to be a bit behind the pigs. finished as the sun was going down and got lucky on the way out. A boar crossed the track and it was all a scramble to get the lee speed out load a few rounds and into the scrub after him. Bumped him from the thick stuff and instinctively put a shot into him as he was going away, took the back end out and two more to finish him. Stoked. Huge boar so dressed him and some Egyptian lifting techniques to get him into the back of the hilux. Used Charles Lancaster 303 150gr PPU. Heres a few pics........Cheers Mick dragging boar up a tree to load at home on the scales Grass is very high and still very wet |

Wunderbar Mick. Would also love to see some Wet Season scenic photos as well. How is the Wet going this year? Late? Flooded now? |

Nice one Mick! Congrats. A good reminder to get off our sofas and go take a look around. Plenty of gaps in the monsoon this year, no excuses! |

"Makin bacon." Love the rifle. How did the PPU bullet do? Did it hold together and how deep did they penetrate? |
