Can anyone help me with some loads for my .375 H&H using ADI powders? Which powders will work with the 235 and 350 grain Woodleighs? Also, are there any aftermarket trigers to replace the one on my BRNO 602? |

A check through Nick Harveys book lists the following: 235gr bullet: Min Max AR2208 72gr(2620fps) 75gr(2745fps) AR2209 80gr(2590fps) 82gr(2716fps) 300gr Bullet: AR2208 66gr(2490fps) 71gr(2560fps) AR2209 73gr(2420fps) 77gr(2545fps) Don't know about about the trigger, timney should have one. opps had to edit the 350gr to 300gr |

Can't help you with those projies but the only adi powder I've had top results with is 2208 - 70gns behind the Woodleigh 270 PP. av.vel.is 2655fps and 18mm groups at 100mtrs. played around with 2209 (80gn) but never got good accuracy always around the 50mm mark,av.vel. 2685fps Bakes has mentioned some loads from Nick's manual and on the whole he's pretty well spot on but I've found some weird loads in there ie: Nick's loads for 270gn projie ar2208 68.5 to 74 max ar2209 74 to 78 max ADI manual ad2208 67 max. ad2209 83c max. Big difference as you can see?? 83gns of 2209 and 74gn of 2208 is way over the top in my firearm and 67gn of 2208 way too low. as is the 78gn of 2209 load. like to know how ADI done there testing.....Les |

Les I've found discrepancys in alot of calibres between the two books. Mostly the ADI book shows smaller min-max loads than Harveys, mostly. I don't know how thay stand up to other manuals. |

There is a close correlation between the numbers given by ADI and Hodgdon. I suspect that because ADI make many of the powders repackaged by Hodgdon that ADI do not actually work up most of the data in their handbook and website, simply use the info that Hodgdon have provided. Loading data from ADI on their new powders has been a long time coming - I would not be surprised if none is available until after Hodgon release their stuff. |

Quite right Hodgdon data is the same as ADI's, still, far as I'm concerned some 375 loads are definitely overloads as is the 45/70 data....Les |
