As you said xausa, "chacun son goût". I believe we Europeans, see hunting guns as piece of art that can be used in the field. Even our Verney-Carron's "production guns" needs to attract the customers first with their aesthetic values before their mechanical and use values. So when a European customer that can pay for it ask for a bespoke gun from L'Atelier Verney-Carron, he wants a piece of art that he can hunt with (and in that case he did, since as soon as the gun was ready, he went to try it in Namibia). As I said : "(...) a perfect match between the hunter and his firearm both in hunting action or for his viewing pleasure ..." |
