Of all the drillings i've been around i've known of 3 with broken extractors. All 3 were 30-06 chamberings and all three were Sauers... My best friend owned one of them, and he said it was more common with the Sauers with rimless carteidges.

Weatherby also sold rebadged Sauer drillings...
