For those of us that like to buy our rifles one barrel at the time, here are a few photos of my deer rifle. I say that in jest because I have yet to have a shot at a deer while carrying this rifle, and I have carried it a lot. Carrying this gun used to make me feel like I was going to see a deer any moment. I wouldn't mind breaking it in on a hog but might have to settle for a hard shell possum. The Alex Henry is a 450 3.25 inch BPE with a 28 inch barrel. Since it is a takedown, I guess Mr. Henry decided to forego the Ruger forearm and put a lever release on instead. The Henry weighs 6 3/4 pounds, all of it in the right places, and is a dream to carry. Alex Henry 1 Alex Henry 2 Alex Henry 3 Hope you like it! |
