It sure is a practical gun!

I thought of asking the gunsmith to make me an insert barrel, but find that it puts a bit of stress on the action, so I think I'll be better off to trade it for a doublerifledrilling. It won't be financial possible for me to get a DRD until summer, but it doesn't harm to start looking....

Have you done a bit of hunting with yours yet? And by the way, what game do you hunt?

I thought of getting a specialized gun for roe-deer stalking, and driven hunts for deer and wildboar.. I just bought a christmasgift for myself: a second hand, mint condition, Zeiss variopoint 1,1-4x24. Reckon this will make a good set-up for driven hunts.
