I just got my 8 bore single. Now its time to start accumulating componenets, cases, etc to load this beast. I ahve no experience with it. ANyone have any pointers on loading, tools and making them, bullets, molds.
The gun has 838 groove. 828 bore according to the builder. He used an .846 diameter ball when working up the load and sights. Is that correct? I would like to either try that or maybe a short foster type conical. any suggestions.
Plastic or brass. I know I iwll have to use brass for hunting. I am all ears.
