I often wondered what the Moulds rib looked like. Have not seen one in person. Is it lower than the factory quarter rib?

I also use an NECG rear peep on my #1 with their white bead up front. I like the appearance of the Weaver style NECG better as it is not as "blocky" in appearance as their Ruger style sight.

Sounds like a very nice rifle you have built and the calibre is one of my favourites.

The scope I'm playing with is a Leupold 2x7x33 with Warne rings. Nice and low also. The power ring will probably remain set at 2x.

I'd really like to machine a small filler for the rib, Moulds or factory, to fill the slot where the factory rear folding leaf goes so I could simply remove the sight. This would make for a pretty rib.
