Just picked up my new No 1 RSI 7x57, and as this is my first falling block, or single shot of any kind for that matter, I had a question regarding the gun.

When the gun is loaded you can see the cartridge rim through the top of the action and the falling block wiggles, just a little, front and back. Is this normal for this design? Not being familiar with the design, I assumed the block would seal at the top against the breech, but maybe not?
