Just picked up an Austrian hammer cape in really good shape. Had to make a few small parts and put it back on face (it was barely off) but otherwise all was well. Now the problem... The gun shoots to the left of center by about 4" at 50 yds which is fine for the rear sight BUT it also has a folding tang sight that doesn't have anywhere near enough windage adjustment. I am shooting S&B and I haven't tried any reloads yet, but that seems like quite a bit to work against. I have reloaded and regualted rifles, but as I understand, the 9.3x74R has a pretty standard loading with the 196gr and a multi diameter bullet design (besides being .363 or 4 instead of .366) The gun seems to have been made in 1911 if I read things right. Is it possible that it was regulated for a different load? thanks. Tom |
