I carry my spare ammo in an MTM wallet that holds ten of the torpedos. This is usually in a small backpack or waist pouch.

I also keep two rounds in loops that I sew to my suspenders which are readily accessible. When I prepare to fire, I remove the two cartridges and place them between my offhand fingers. I always wear deerskin gloves and these give me a pretty good grip on them.

Upon discharge, my right hand cycles the action and then the same hand reaches under and grabs a cartridge for chambering.

With practice, one can make a single shot sing 'n dance!
