Many years ago I bought a 458 #1 tropical as a barreled action. I ordered a Fajen semi inletted stock in laminated walnut and maple. It seemed African to me. Sent the gun out to be (no laughing) magnaported.
It took me about a year to fit and finish the stock. It sat in the gun safe for a long time after firing a couple of boxes of magnum loads.
Then I found the Federal 350 grain ammo. What pleasure to shoot making this a practical gun to own. It's killed many hogs and whitetail. Maybe a little overgunned but it sure is fun.
I really like this gun a lot.
