Hello,

I've been going round and round with trying to figure out what to do about a custom 300 H&H bolt rifle and it occured to me that a Ruger No 1 would be really neat in 300 H$H for an upcoming trip to SOuth Africa for plains game. It also seems like it will cost a bit less than a custom bolt gun. Any suggestions on who to talk to about building one?

Looking for something classic, blue, nice walnut, iron express sights for those 220 grainers, along with scope mounts, bbl band, etc...

Also, does it make a difference whether you start with a tropical or a smaller model?
