It is an early Nitro snap action with external hammers and 65mm chambers. I loved it when I owned it, and now someone else who appreciates what it is loves it.

You are right about the 2 3/4" loads for more modern drillings, and I use original Brenneke when I can find them. The OLD original Brennekes work great in my two 12 gauge drillings and my 16 ga. I'm talking about the paper hull shells with the fiber wad screwed into the base of the slug.

At one time I could find these in 67mm, and they worked well in my older drillings and BBFs.
