I am sure someone will pay a lot for it, but I personally could never see a reason to pay extra for a gun because of its provenance. JA Hunter's double sold for about double what it was worth because he owned it. Since I enjoy owning guns to shoot and hunt with them, not because of where they have been before, I would rather use that money to buy twice the gun, and go hunting.
