I've noticed on other forums that discussion of this gun centres on the man and his terrible legacy, rather than a marvellous, well-made gun with a (more or less!) proven provenance. Most posters despise the very idea of owning the gun, believing that would somehow glorify the original owner and his despicable actions.
I, on the other hand, would love to add something like that to my collection. Tragically I could never afford it, however if all Americans won't touch it with a barge-pole, maybe I should send in a low offer!
