I have a 9,3x57R/360 single shot rifle signed "St. Illichmann in Wien", Vienna BP proof dated 1894.
Definitely with the "D" or German case shape.
9,3x72R cases can be shortened and sized, but may need a lot of neck turning.
Bore dimensions may vary so the barrel should be slugged.
