Do you know if using cut down 9.3x72r brass solves the rim thickness problem? I checked 360EX 2.25" brass from Bertrams, and that is too fat to allow the brass to fully chamber. Taping the case and resizing might solve that problem.

I owe pics of the rifle, which arrived earlier this week. My initial impression is that it's a shame that someone needed to remove all the bluing and case colors. Nicely made rifle, if way too light for steady offhand work any distance. Seems the same weight as my takedown Alexander Henry single in 360EX.
