To the OP, Kirton talks about Rigby adding the word “Breech” to the side of the actions they used so all of the Rigbys read “Field’s Patent Breech” denoting that they used only the action in some effort to differentiate the Field patent actioned rifles from their own Rigby Banks patent rifles.
