Excellent purchase!
This rifle is in the Gibbs book by Winfer and described there as a 450 3-1/4” which is unusual for a Gibbs.
It’s also #2 of a pair or trio of rifles which the auction house missed entirely for some reason - the big ‘2’ on the top strap being a clue…
I really wanted this rifle and I bet I was the last bidder before you but I’m tight these days so I’m glad it went to a fellow NitroExpress member!
