Thanks guys. The caliber is the 303 British. Unfortunately, Westley Richards doesn’t have a lot of records for the falling blocks. They say the records were lost in a flood. The rifle was in Johannesburg in 1899. November engraving on the action except for Westley Richards. The emblem is a bumper plate probably from the ‘50s or ‘60s I picked up. I really had a tough time seeing the sights under the range roof. I need to get some white paint for the sights and take it to the range again. Ken |
