Before someone asks: What is a Greifelt scope mount? It was a 1920s slide-on mount with interlocking teeth, like a rack, on base and locking element. This arrangement precluded any lengthwise movement of rings to base, while allowing removal after unlocking. Obsolete since at least WW2. So don’t ask me where to find fitting rings.
