I have used a few red dot sights and quite like them, although I do have a stigmatism and they do look like a star to me. There are various reticles that the likes of aimpoint offer and to be honest the shotcam image is not a bad representation of how it looks in real life. In real life you do see the barrel through the sight. I have put a 1-4x20 scope which just has a red reticle. I think I like it. But it is quite bulky compared to a little red dot sight. Image quality is better and more usable at 4x. But I think a little might be better option. I use this scope for driven boar type shooting, and for practice I shoot clay targets with the shot barrel with scope mounted. |
