Thanks Pug, the side safety should have been a dead give away for me as it features prominently in most of the Mayfair pics. I am normally a stickler for correct information but let the fact the Mayfair and Ian Clarke make so many components for the British trade get the better of my judgement.

Thanks for the information on both the new versions being made, very interesting. Does the company who made these actions for Rigby make gun parts for other companies as well or was it a first time venture for a local Engineering Company. If so they certainly did a great job.

If you could find out about the brass that would be appreciated, it would be interesting to see who it is. Hopefully the cartridge can make a bit of an impression on the public and get a reasonable following. Certainly a beauty.
